Women’s Ministry

Tuesdays, 8:00 AM, in the Lounge*

The women who meet Tuesday mornings represent diverse walks of life and different world views. They share a lively interest in exploring the Bible and a desire to find daily relevance in Scripture. You’ll find this a safe place to share your joys, as well as your challenges. All are very welcome. Adult Education / Discovery

Sundays, 8:45 AM, in Room 107

From October through May, Sunday morning sessions offers programs that enrich our understanding of our faith and our place in the community. The first and third Sundays feature Adult Education. Beginning in October 2024, Patty Reddy will lead from a book and DVD titled “The Story.” The second, fourth and fifth (when it occurs) Sundays are Discovery…a variety of topics about local and international missions supported by First Church, church history and other subjects.

Women’s Circle

2nd Tuesday of the month, 12:30 pm, in the Friendship Lounge

Women’s Circle is for women of all ages. The group meets once a month from September through April. Get-togethers typically feature a coffee and dessert followed by a speaker on Circle 7 is open to any woman seeking Christian fellowship. Guests are welcome to join us at 1:00 p.m. for our program.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Prayer shawls are a tangible symbol that God’s care surrounds us when we are hurting. Shawls are kept in a box in the Front Office and are available to all. You are invited to give a shawl to a friend or family member who is ill, grieving or troubled.To discuss an idea or to learn more about the knitting club, please contact Pat Reddy at patreddy@deltaformsltd.com.
