Fellowship

First Congregational Church of Wauwatosa
In addition to Sunday Services, we offer engaging weekly events such as Yoga sessions and knitting circles, perfect for connecting with others and exploring new skills. Women’s and Men’s groups, “Good Vibes” meditation and prayer. There are a variety of special events around the holidays, providing opportunities for celebration and fellowship. Join us for a rich tapestry of activities that nurture both the spirit and the bond within our community.

GENTLE YOGA CLASSES

Tuesdays, 9:00 am
Friendship Lounge (2nd Tuesday of each month)
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat or towel. Chairs will be provided for those with limited mobility.

CHRISTMAS WORKSHOP

The Christmas Workshop is held on a Sunday afternoon early in December. It kicks off the Christmas season for everyone, from 3 year olds to grandparents, with Christmas crafts and gingerbread men. The workshop is followed by a pizza dinner.

EASTER EGG HUNT

An Easter egg hunt is held on Easter Sunday morning prior to the 10:00 AM service.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL

The ice cream social is held on the first Sunday in June after the 10:00 AM service, which is led by the children.

 

PURLS OF WISDOM KNIT CLUB

1st Saturday of the Month, 10AM – 12 noon, in the Library

People of all ages and levels of ability join together in fellowship to create knitted  shawls for the church’s prayer shawl ministry, and caps for newborn babies.

To discuss an idea or to learn more about the knitting club, please contact the office. If you are unable to attend the Saturday sessions, feel free to contact Pat Reddy for a kit with yarn and instructions.
